Our Mission
Patrick’s Friends for Lost Pets is inspired by our beloved goat, Patrick, whose disappearance showed us how hard it can be to find a missing animal when information and support are scattered.
We do this by:
- Mobilizing community volunteers to support searches and share information.
- Connecting pet owners to local animal resources — shelters, rescues, vets, and more.
- Developing tools and technology (including a mobile and web-based app) to make searches faster, more organized, and more effective.
By partnering with local shelters, veterinary clinics, and other animal advocates, we’re building a network that gives missing pets a better chance to get home.

In an age where pets are cherished members of our families, the heartbreaking reality of lost pets demands urgent attention. Our organization, Patrick’s Friends is dedicated to mitigating pet loss through education, community engagement, and effective reunification efforts.
At the heart of Patrick’s Friends is our commitment to empowering pet parents with essential knowledge on prevention strategies. We will offer educational workshops and resources that cover topics such as microchipping, safety products for pets,creating safe outdoor spaces, dog and child safety and best suggestions for traveling with pets.
By equipping pet owners with these tools, as well as educating them on pet body language, we aim to minimize the risk of pets going missing.
